Study Says Dem’s Support of Violence is Rising

By now, I’m sure you’ve noticed that violence has increased in the US over the last few years. And as at least one study says, that growth is due to Democrats becoming more radical and upset about Republican success.

According to the University of Chicago Project on Security and Threats study, support for “use of force” or violence to meet political goals has nearly doubled in the last year alone, from 9 percent to 17 percent. And unsurprisingly, it is mostly Democrats who claim this increase.

The research team wrote, “While increasing across the political spectrum, the rise was sharpest among Democrats where it grew by about 2.5 times.”

But why is there an increase? And mostly among Dems?

Well, according to the study, the left-leaning are growing increasingly upset that Republicans are rising “to power” and have more control over key government branches such as the Supreme Court and the House of Representatives.

Most prominently, it seems the bulk of that growth in Democratic anger came after the Supreme Court voted to reverse Roe v. Wade and make abortion a state issue. In January of 2023, support for violence “to restore the federal right to abortion” sat at around 8 percent. But as of the end of June, that had risen to 12 percent, which, as the study says, is “beyond the margin of survey error.”

For Democrats specifically, that number rose even more, from 8 percent to 16 percent.

“This likely indicates growing anger over the Republican-controlled Supreme Court,” the survey says.

It is noted that this is the first time in a long time, decades, in fact, that the right has controlled the Supreme Court. And yet, suddenly, the whole right-leaning government is “illegitimate?”

Hmmm.

So basically, Dems are upset they don’t have control, and so they are acting out like spoiled brat teenagers? Yep, sounds about right…
