Sharon Osbourne talked about the message her family received after Ozzy Osbourne died. She did it on a recent episode of “The Osbournes Podcast” with Jack and Kelly.

They mentioned the wave of condolences. They said notes came from King Charles III, President Donald Trump, and thousands of others. Then they played one voicemail that stood out.

Donald Trump said, “Hi Sharon, it’s Donald Trump, and I just wanted to wish you the best and the family … Ozzy was amazing, he was an amazing guy,” Trump stated. “I met him a few times, and I want to tell you he was unique in every way and talented.”

Donald Trump said, “So, I just wanted to wish you the best, and it’s a tough thing,” he added. “I know how close you were, and whatever I can do. Take care of yourself. Say hello to the family. Thanks, bye.”

Jack Osbourne reacted to hearing it again. He made a point about the choice to call. He said it mattered because it was personal.

Jack Osbourne said, “Love him or hate him, he didn’t have to call and leave a voicemail.”

Sharon listened and fought back tears. She focused on the fact that he took the time. She also talked about how he pays attention to real life outside the cameras.

Sharon Osbourne said, “For him to take his time to do that for us. And because you know what? He doesn’t live in a bubble.”

Sharon Osbourne said, “He knows what’s going on in the streets. He knows what is going on,” she added.

Sharon told listeners this moment was not about politics. She spoke about time she spent working with Trump and with Melania. She described how people argue about winners and losers, but she wanted to share what she knew firsthand.

Sharon Osbourne said, “Listen, when it comes to politics, we know nobody comes out a winner,” Sharon explained. “Whoever you like, half of people are gonna [be unhappy], and now it’s more so than ever in history… You can’t come out a winner. All I know is a man that I know, I worked with for a month — I spent one month with him and his wife [Melania], who was always gracious, elegant, just a delight to talk to his wife.”

She added a memory about how Trump spoke about her kids. She said he often asked about them by name. She said he showed respect every time.

Sharon Osbourne said, “He [Trump] was always, ‘How are the children? How’s Kelly? I’m so proud of Kelly and Jack for what they’ve done,” she added. “Their manners are great.’ And he was just a great guy to talk to, and he has always treated me with respect.”

The episode gave a fuller picture of a private moment. It showed a former president reaching out and a family hearing kindness during a hard week. It also showed how simple words can carry weight when the cameras are off.

The story matched things others have said in public. A longtime friend spoke about similar moments away from the stage. He told a story about quiet visits during the worst days a parent can face.

Steve Witkoff said, “Many Americans have only witnessed his leadership on TV. But I have seen his humanity in the quiet moments…in hospital rooms he didn’t have to be in… that’s who he is…when he has everything to lose and nothing to gain, Donald Trump shows up.”

On the podcast, the family kept the focus on what the message meant to them. They talked about the comfort of hearing a friend praise Ozzy. They said the words landed because they felt real.

The segment ended with gratitude. They thanked people for the love that poured in. They said they will remember who reached out and what was said when it mattered most.
