MSNBC Alum Unleashes Unhinged ICE Rant

Former MSNBC host Tiffany Cross let loose another unhinged rant Tuesday night, claiming with a straight face that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents are “kidnapping” illegal immigrants and sending them to “concentration camps” under President Trump’s immigration crackdown.

Cross, who was fired from MSNBC in 2023 after a string of racially inflammatory remarks, has returned to shouting down anyone who disagrees with her as Trump’s second-term border policies tighten. During a heated CNN panel, she claimed the federal government is “disappearing people” simply for enforcing immigration laws, blasting ICE’s efforts to arrest and deport illegal immigrants as “kidnapping.”

“This is the challenge I have with even talking about this,” Cross said. “We are normalizing a government agency disappearing people. We are normalizing—we’re talking about it like it’s no big deal that they are kidnapping people and transporting them to concentration camps, both domestic and foreign.”

When New York Post Editor-at-Large Kelly Jane Torrance tried to correct the absurd claim, Cross erupted, yelling, “It is not insulting to Jewish— I find it insulting that you could even fix your mouth to defend this disgusting behavior.” Torrance, calmly pointing out there are no gas chambers or death camps in ICE facilities, was shouted down as Cross continued to compare immigration enforcement to Nazi atrocities.

The meltdown comes as Trump has made good on his 2024 campaign promise to enforce immigration law and dismantle the Biden-era open borders chaos. On his first day back in office, Trump signed multiple executive orders expanding ICE’s authority, designating Mexican drug cartels and violent gangs like MS-13 as foreign terrorist organizations, and invoking the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 to speed up deportations.

Trump’s orders led to nationwide ICE sweeps that have enraged leftist activists. Resistance has escalated, with recent rioting in Los Angeles and two separate incidents in Texas where shots were fired at ICE and Border Patrol facilities. Ten individuals were charged with attempted murder after a July 4 ambush on ICE officers outside a Texas facility.

Democrat officials have also joined the resistance. In Nashville, Democrat Mayor Freddie O’Connell released the names of ICE agents involved in local enforcement, while in New Jersey, Democrat Rep. LaMonica McIver was charged with assaulting an ICE agent during a Newark facility protest. In New York City, ICE agents even arrested Democrat mayoral candidate Brad Lander last month after he allegedly interfered with an ICE operation at a Manhattan courthouse.

Meanwhile, Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz has called out the left’s reckless rhetoric, saying it has incited violence against federal agents tasked with keeping the border secure. “We have a job to do, and we will continue to do it,” Ortiz said, dismissing attempts to demonize ICE as “pure political theater.”

Despite the left’s hysteria, ICE facilities remain under constant scrutiny from federal inspectors, and claims of “concentration camps” are nothing more than a radical smear to delegitimize lawful immigration enforcement. Trump’s administration has emphasized that the vast majority of those detained are illegal aliens with pending court cases or final deportation orders, with many linked to criminal charges or gang affiliations.

Cross’s comments are part of a broader pattern of the left attempting to equate Trump’s tough border policies with historical atrocities while ignoring the real consequences of illegal immigration for American communities. The meltdown underscores how far left-wing media figures are willing to go to attack law enforcement and sow fear, even as communities demand border security.

ICE has declined to respond to Cross’s remarks, but officials have made clear they will not be intimidated by political pressure or false comparisons. As Trump’s enforcement actions continue, expect leftist activists and media allies to double down on their outlandish attacks—no matter how absurd they sound.
