Either the Biden administration is really dumber than we thought or they only see what they want to see. Anyone who has been paying attention has seen that fentanyl deaths are skyrocketing across the nation. People are accidentally overdosing – and these aren’t even hardened drug users. These are students, parents, and even senior citizens who are buying a few pills off of the black market.
Those pills, whether they are for sleeping, pain, or something else, are laced with fentanyl. And the reason there’s so much fentanyl is all because the Biden administration doesn’t want to deal with the southern border crisis.
While the Democrats may have actively invited the illegal immigration, they didn’t think about what all of those immigrants would be bringing into the country – crime, guns, and drugs. We don’t need any more of those things in the U.S. than we already have.
Kentucky might as well be a border state with all that they’re dealing with. They have noticed an influx of illicit drugs throughout their communities – and fentanyl and meth are at the top of the list.
Now, we already know that the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) knows about the problem because they have issued a public safety warning that tells people that these drugs are killing Americans “at an unprecedented rate.”
The DEA has had to tell the Biden administration about where the drugs are coming from, right? After all, the drugs are manufactured in Mexico and smuggled into the U.S. at the southern border.
Then, thanks to Biden’s great plan of “catch and release,” the immigrants and the drugs they’re carrying in are being distributed all across the country. So, it’s no longer just the border states dealing with it. It’s other states, like Kentucky, that are dealing with it. Yet, somehow, Biden can’t figure out how to put two and two together.
Representative Brett Guthrie wrote in the Bowling Green Daily News that he visited the southern border and asked how he could support them in Congress. “They said continuing construction on the border wall is an urgent need. They showed me the point of the border wall between New Mexico and Mexico where President Donald Trump’s border wall was halted by Biden.” This actually caused a physical gap between the new wall and the old wall so that cartels could literally walk drugs into the U.S.
So, at this point, we have to wonder how many people have to die “at an unprecedented rate” before Biden finally decides to close the border. It’s the only way that we can address the drug trafficking issue and protect our citizens.
