Adam Kinzinger is a disgrace to the GOP. He’s a RINO, which is the only reason why he’s even sitting on the January 6 committee. Nancy Pelosi hand-picked him, which says a lot about where he sides on all of the top issues.
We’ve known for a while that the investigation into the “insurrection” is a bunch of crap. This is nothing more than a witch hunt to bring down Trump and any of the GOP that want to side with him.
Unfortunately, the committee continues on, even though Kevin McCarthy, the House Minority Leader, questions the very legality and integrity of the committee since it’s about as partisan as you can get.
We have to look at who was actually responsible for two things. The first is who was responsible for encouraging people to storm the Capitol? The second is who was responsible for providing security of the Capitol knowing that there was discussion of an insurrection in the days leading up to January 6.
It’s not Trump. And, no one was able to actually defend Trump better than never-Trumper Adam Kinzinger, though he did so by accident.
There’s a lot going on inside of the January 6 investigation that the liberals don’t want you to know about. It’s no wonder why Pelosi was very cautious about who she let onto the committee. The only two members of the GOP are not really Republicans at all. In addition to Kinzinger, a known RINO, there’s also Liz Cheney…another known RINO.
Senator Ted Cruz recently had the pleasure of being able to grill Jill Sanborn, the executive assistant director of the National Security Branch of the FBI. He wanted to know if there were employees of informants of the FBI participating in the riots.
She didn’t provide any real answers. She simply said she couldn’t answer the questions. She would not deny that the FBI didn’t have any involvement – and that’s more than a bit concerning.
Now, we also have to talk about Ray Epps. Cruz talked about Epps because he actually encouraged people to enter the Capitol.
The FBI has gone after a lot of people…but not Epps. Yet, as of the information that is available right now, Epps is the only one on record to have actually encouraged people to enter the Capitol.
Also, when Cruz asked, Sanborn would not confirm whether Epps was a “fed” or not.
This is when Kinzinger steps in and makes everything so much worse for the committee – and leaves us asking even more questions. The Illinois Representative decided that it was important to jump to the defense of Ray Epps.
Kinzinger tried to make the defense through a variety of Twitter threads. “For a few months, people like Tucker Carlson, MTG, Gaetz, and now Cruz have been ‘just asking questions’ about a man named Ray Epps. He was on video the day before Jan 6 saying ‘we’re going INTO the capitol!’ The some in the crowd chanted ‘fed fed fed.’”
That right there should be enough reason for us to be really interested in who Ray Epps is. After all, even Kinzinger himself admitted that Epps said that they’re going to go INTO the Capitol.
Kinzinger went on to say that “he was put on the FBI wanted list, then removed.” Why? Apparently, Epps never went into the Capitol so he didn’t break any laws.
But didn’t he? He essentially launched the insurrection.
What we’re not hearing from Kinzinger or anyone else is that Trump urged people to “peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.”
So, Trump is the bad guy and Epps gets a free pass? No. There’s a lot more to this story, and if we expect Pelosi to be the one to get to the bottom of it, we’ll never hear the truth.
