Pro-Mask Mandate Rep Caught Violating His Own Agenda While Visiting FL: ‘It’s not hypocrisy. It’s hierarchy.’

Let’s be honest, these days it would be better received to hear our draconian lockdown officials are topless, frolicking around on the Florida beaches, than to hear they are indoors and maskless enjoying the freedoms of the Sunshine State.

Eric Swalwell (D-CA) has been instrumental in the lockdown protocols for COVID-19 in California since the beginning of the pandemic and has spent his fair share of time not looking for solutions, but reprimanding the republicans.

He tweeted, “They got me! Maskless, juggling a baby and a coffee while meeting with a Congolese queen. Pulitzer please!”

It took virtually no time at all to start crawfishing, saying they used the wrong photo in the headline claiming he was drinking coffee, and remember y’all, COVID isn’t a thing if you’re sitting down and drinking or eating.

His office gave a statement letting angry Americans know that he went to Florida on business while he was visiting the dozens of family members that live there. Those selfless Democrats, having to go into the most dangerous of places. No, not Iraq or some other 3rd world country. The land of the literal free, down into Florida.

Swalwell went on social media last Friday saying that we are ending 2021 bogged down in what started as a 2-week lockdown. Then, he began referring to conservatives as radical Republicans and liars, calling them out while using, wait for it, none other than a hashtag. “ #TheseGuys.”

Making statements claiming conservatives were responsible for having vacations canceled and forcing our children to go back to virtual learning. All because conservatives wouldn’t wear masks. Threatening everyone must go back to wearing masks everywhere.

Back in August, Swalwell tried to railroad GOP members saying they won’t wear masks and they lie about vaccines while putting everyone’s children in danger, killing teachers. Simply because of “those guys.”

Swalwell, a representative of California’s 15th Congressional District, has openly criticized the proactive pandemic regulations by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

Swalwell has referred to Desantis as selfish for not closing the beaches and giving parents the options to attend Florida schools masked or not.

Christina Pushaw, the press secretary for DeSantis, warmed our conservative hearts as she roasted Swalwell for his retreat to the free state of Florida.

“If Swalwell truly believed his own rhetoric about COVID, Florida, and mandates, he would not take his maskless unvaccinated baby to Loews Hotel South Beach during the Omicron case surge in Miami,” Pushaw wrote on Twitter. “It’s not hypocrisy. It’s hierarchy. I thought Democrats believed Florida is a dystopia of sickness and death.”

Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez also retreats to Florida (where her mother lives to escape New York’s taxes) where she, too, can get some sun on her entire face and breathe some fresh air. She was labeled a hypocrite after being found Sunday in a drag queen bar in Miami.

Yet, when AOC gets called out for alleged hypocrisy, she deflects by making statements such as “Republicans are mad they can’t date me.” And there you have it, ladies and gentlemen. AOC is one of your US representatives. Even though it’s been over three years, it’s still just so shocking to know that she has a seat at that table.

DeSantis rebutted, bringing up the Democrats flocking to Florida by the droves and questioning why the lock-down happy leaders continue to escape for a reprieve down to the Sunshine state.

“If I had a dollar for every lockdown politician who decided to escape to Florida over the last two years, I’d be a pretty doggone wealthy man, let me tell you,” DeSantis quipped. “I mean, congresspeople, mayors, governors, I mean, you name it. I think a lot of Floridians say, ‘Wait a minute, you’re bashing us because we’re not doing your draconian policies, and yet we’re the first place you want to flee to, to basically be able to enjoy life.”

Pack your bags, we’ll see you in the Sunshine State.
